Tricia’s passion is music and has been since the age of five. As a pianist she has performed with various ensembles and has imparted her knowledge and wisdom to many young budding pianists. Facilitating participatory singing and music-playing for our Silver Song Groups has broadened her experience and the dimension in her approach to music.
Dan Summers has been teaching music and entertaining throughout the valley for over 25 years. He has called West Kelowna home for the last 20 years. Combining humour and music, Dan’s sessions promise to be fun, engaging, and memorable. He says it’s the highlight of his week.
Robert Paul King, known locally as “Bob King,”” has been playing and singing music since childhood. He holds a B.Ed (music education major), and a Master’s Degree in Counselling, and is freshly retired from a multi-decade career in public education. Bob keeps busy as a single entertainer, and with two bands, and is an award-winning songwriter.
Amanda’s two biggest passions in life are music and connecting with people. Her enthusiasm and positive spirit make for a fun environment to engage with others through the shared love of music. After studying classical music at the University of Victoria, and graduating from Selkirk’s Contemporary Music & Technology Program, she’s settled in the Okanagan where she teaches piano, writes music for film and performs at local venues.
